View Full Version : Looking to touch a Gemtech Halo - fitting w/ a BC2

I want to put a can over my BC2 on one of my SBRs - and that means I only have a couple of choices.

Does anyone have a Halo that you would let me touch for a few minutes? I want to see if I have enough clearance with my current rail. Don't need to shoot it - just want to try and attach it.

I will provide the beer if it helps. ;)

(and yes I know about the AAC + BC frankenbrake - but no one has one)

I find it hard to believe i am the only one with a HALO. If it is clearance concerns how much do you need to slip the collar over?

Jim thank you for the offer - and I may need to take you up on it if no one has anything around here. Gemtech is WAY backed up right now - deliveries to dealers taking a few months.

Here is what I am trying to put it on.

From the tip of the BC to the beginning of the rail its 2.3 inches (according to my micrometer).

Or if the OD of the Halo is small enough (way doubtful) I could put it inside.

I see no issue running the halo on your gun as it sits. have you talked to GT about that f/hider?
The collar slips just behind the f/hider

I was at Jensens in Loveland yesterday and they have a Halo in the case. I know its a drive but if you are looking to purchase one they have one in stock there.

Sweet. You guys rock. I'll put an order in tomorrow.

The Halo is supposed to fit on the BC2 with no issue - the back part of the hider looks just like an A2.

It fits great on the BC2. You have 4x as much clearance as I do. You're fine.
