Why is it that every other animal species on this planet is allowed to defend itself in some form or fashion, but humans restrict it? Self defense is NOT evil. Hell, it's flat out un-natural to NOT defend one's self.

Because people have been taught since who knows when. It's wrong to hit another person, in defense. I know they were not from family tree.
I use Sgt York as an example of pacifism who did what needed to be done in the face of danger, to save his life.
I stress in class, it's something i hope i never need to do, however they need to make a decision. When the flag drops, are you a survivor, or victim?

Forget the Kimber. people still see a GUN, even though it is red.
This is some of the best stream pepper stuff. Can go up a very nice distance comes out in a real solid stream, so no worry about dispersion in any kind of breeze, unlike a spray. Has a safety top so if stuck against something it will not go off. Slide your thumb under the cap and blast off. Plus the size is perfect in the palm of your hand to act as a baton.

That's certainly one interpretation. One noted biblical scholar has pointed out that there are at least 65 varying interpretations of the Sermon on the Mount, including some that call for passivity in response to violence.

Oh and S.E. Cupp is an atheist conservative... Freedom of religion can also mean freedom from religion. I don't even know why you would bring up scripture here... some of us don't follow the words from a book written over 1500 years ago. I can't seem to find "freedom from religion" in the constitution. Nor would I say that either Rand or Cupp would support your idea that freedom of religion means freedom from religion.
