I haven't paid a lot of attention, but I seem to recall some chatter that USO has QC issues. I'm considering the SN-4 1X-6X for an AR. Anyone got any firsthand experience positive or negative with USO?

No first hand... but I've met a gent that has been through 2 or 3 USO's and complains that they never hold zero....

I've got two 1-4x SN-4's. No issue with either, good glass and built solidly.

I know another member on here that had an issue with a 1.5-6, but I believe that USO quickly fixed the problem. They do have great customer service. Perhaps that member will post on this thread.

Good glass , nice features , huge QC issue . If you get one that works your golden if not plan on using their customer service more than once .

Damn. That 1.5 - 6 is just about perfect in regard to features.

Take a look at the Bushnell 1-6.5 and the Swarovski 1-6.

I agree with Hoser and C Ward. I know more people who have had to send them back that haven't.

My opinion, carries little weight, but I have 3 and 2 have gone back, one was grease on the lens, the other was illumination was not working. The third one I have is older and been bullet proof, the two that went back were brand new, I also had an older 1.8-10 that was rock solid (wish I still had it). No problems since, but agreed, wish I never had to use the customer service to begin with!

Edit: Now that said, now that they are all square, I love them. I only have one other magnified scope and its a Nightforce 2.5-10x24 mil/mil and its always been good.
