View Full Version : moving is no fun.
Moving is the worst. Thats when you find out who really is a friend haha. All the family i ask is already doing something like food shopping or taking their dog to the park lol.
i guess i would have a excuse too. So i moving to c-470 and wads wich means ill be lost a whole lot. Thats like another state compared to where ive lived the last 30yrs.
Still have some boxes in my garage. Want them?
GL on the move man! I usually don't ask because if I break my stuff then oh well but if someone else does it then I get pissed [Rant2]

I hired someone to move my stuff last time, and it was worth every penny. They'll do it in half the time it would take you and all you have to do is sit there with a frosty beverage and point.

Yes.... I'm moving too. [Beer]
Can come get them anytime Saturday or Sunday.
Hey just remembered I have that thing to do on that day? What day were you moving again? Oh yeah that's when I have to do that thing... Sorry.

for real best money i have spent nothing broken, done in half the time.... i was unpacking the same night instead of passing out on some section of floor i managed to clear off
I paid last time too.. $400 bucks and it was worth not having the headache! I sat on the patio w/ a beer and just said what room to put it in. it was awesome.
Friends help you move.
Real friends help you move bodies.
I'd gladly help you move, if you help me do the same in two weeks. [Muaha]
End of September for me, moving to SLC. And I wear my tin foil helmet tight enough I don't trust movers with my things.
My landlord is already being a major dick. My sister reminded me, "you rented a cheap house in a shitty neighborhood, who did you expect for a landlord?"
Edit: I will pay good money to borrow someones cargo van with ladder rack for a weekend. I need to move a 20 foot sea kayak to grand junction.

For our last move, we packed our selves and paid people to do the rest. When it comes time to move again, I won't even think twice about hiring people to do the hard labor.

I stopped helping people move when the last time I moved I ended up doing it all myself.. from that point I vowed to never help anyone move again.
I think the next time we move we are going to pay someone to do it. It was a b*tch to move a whole house worth of stuff myself.
Good luck.
When did you finalize the move? I'd be willing to help but I will do the best I can to schedule something for that day!
Im moving tomorrow. I just called them out as flakes lol.so tomorrow they said they will prove me wrong. We shall see lol
Well that turned out to suck. Borrowed a trailer with no lights or tags. Got pullee over by the nicest state patrol ever. Gave me a break and let me go. Took the trailer back to its owner and now im back at square one.
