View Full Version : Good Obama News
Was talking to my father in law last night who is fairly liberal and we got to talking a little politics. He made the statement " I just don't see how Obama could get re-elected."
I really expected him to be pro-Obama but it sounds like he has a similar dis-content with the President as most of us do. Maybe people are seeing what is happening and starting to think for their own.
Im watching "abc this week" right now (we choose not to have cable so Im watching local channels on rabbit ears) and they are blasting Obama.
I think its great news that the Obama Babies are starting to see the light and realize we need hope and Obama can keep his change. It seems Obama's approval rating will continue to drop between now and November so there is hope.
I really don't think Mitsie is the best but I know what we are doing isn't working and we need to try something else, even if thats not perfect.

The news starting to "attack" the Dems is an old strategy. Now that its a damn good chance of Obama losing in November, they're trying to act all "fair and balanced" to fight against their typical support of the Dems. They're not exactly rats fleeing a sinking ship in that they're panicking, this is a tried and true strategy so on November 7th they'll start their preening about how they're not biased.
Just remember that the entitled, and public sector employees eligible for collective bargaining will continue to vote in their sugar daddy to sustain their self perpetuating system. It's still going to be a hard won battle and we must all keep up the good fight.

I spoke with my son about this election last night. I informed him why it's so critical & why I think most people his age voted for Oblunder last time & how many still buy the hype. I impressed upon him the need to get the word out to those he knows to NOT re-elect this guy as it will certainly cause even greater harm to this nation.
It's not over until the last vote has been cast. Get OUT there with facts to overcome the emotions & boot this mistake out of office.

The problem that I see is that even though the Dems/Liberals are not very happy with him, many of them will still vote for him because they've "always voted Democrat" or "I could never vote for a Republican". I hope that there are enough of them that do decide to vote for someone else to get him out!!!
Speaking of Obummer, has anyone seen 2016?

At my former place of employment, the office manager was supporting her husband and 3 kids (one of which was stepson, and the other a baby that she had when she was struggling to support her first kid to begin with). Her husband had been out of work for 98 weeks and receiving unemployment benefits the entire time. He purposefully had not gotten a job because all he was good enough for would not gotten him as much $$ as his weekly checks for sitting on his ass.
One day at a meeting, the office manager bemoaned the fact that "and next week, my husbands unemployment runs out, and THEN WE'LL GET NOTHING!!". She honestly felt completely entitled to get money for nothing from the government.
This is the type of voter we're up against. All the reason and logic in the world simply doesn't work on them, and the Obama camp knows it, and that's how they play their game.
Bonus pts: the next week the husband "managed" to find a full time job.

Stossel had a special called "out of work"... what he found was that any place in the world that a majority would not find any work until just before or after their benefits run out.

It's very frightening... I know of several people who must be just too dumb to realize how bad BHO is. They're all against Romney, but then when I say something bad about Obummer they tell me to stop watching so much Fox News. Funny, I don't have cable, and unlike their stupid selves I don't get my political opinion from the "News." Like I've always said: there is no news in the truth, and no truth in the news.

Deal with this frequently, you can tell who still has unemployment and who is fresh off of it. The people who have it still will apply and ask for way more money than anyone in the industry is making or "over share" that they use drugs or do something knowing you will not hire them. The people who are fresh off will take anything you offer them, work for a short while and then try to get fired to get back on the government teat.
The shitiest part is that everyone gets unemployment now. It used to be if you got fired for a valid reason you were denied unemployment, thus giving you a reason not to be a worthless piece of shit. Not the case anymore. We were doing a project recently and an employee managed to do thousands of dollars in damage to the surrounding areas. As is company policy any time there is excessive damage and or injuries on a job we require a urine sample to drug test them. He refused to take said test despite signing our company policy forms when hired, quitting his job. He disputed this with unemployment saying although his job description as construction superintendent would say otherwise he was not responsible for damage on the job. The unemployment office agreed with him after reading the job description he signed! We then informed them that this was all moot as he refused to take a drug test and forfeit his job accordingly and they still gave him unemployment. This guy was a piece of work, while denying to take the urine test he threatened to tell a local city government of which we were performing work for that we used felons on the project which was a complete fabrication.
