Who sells a cheaper version of the flip-up sights I've seen on the web?
These are going on a subgun, so do not need to be high end accurate.
One's I've seen on the web are like $230-$240 for a front/rear set (too much $$$).

I'm thinking of getting the Lage Max-11 Flat Top Upper (I'm up on his list), so I'd like some iron sights to have for it. I like the idea of having iron sights or the ability to remove the iron sights and use a red dot scope.

Later,
Kyle
ps - thanks to Karl (The cheesy brat man) for letting me know I posted this on the old board ....

Check the equipment exchange on ar15.com before forking out for a new one. I've seen like-new BUIS selling on there for $60-90. That's where I got mine. Also, I.M. people on there who posted BUIS for sale 30 days + back that didn't sell...they are usually more flexible on price.

Also email a guy on ar-15.com who goes by "brightflashlights" in the industry section. Lots of stuff, outstanding service, and the best prices by a good margin. I buy everything I can from him.

why not just get it with sites? i have the stock sites on my upper. they are not great but not bad either. there is still pleanty of room for a red dot.

I did get the standard Max-11 upper w/sights (600rpm bolt). Richard didn't have any flat top models available when my # was up. I also got the safety extension & safety slide, 750rpm bolt and a 10" barrel. It'll be fun to blast with. Glad I got in on this order, he's raising his prices soon, but still an excellent deal for the $$$.

Be sure and let us know if you stumble across any at a decent price.

I can't find any online.

Thanks

i think you will like it alot. i love mine and the only draw back is it is picky with magazines. out of about 12 it will only run 2 without jamming. it tends to nose them down in the mag. my other upper would jam in other ways like a round getting caught halfway out.
