Anyone here interested in forming a "Master Mind" group? I have never done it, but there is a lot of info on the net.

I want to form one of Industry leaders, Investors, bankers, shooters, engineers, machinist, gunsmiths, re-loaders, manufacture's, legal, marketing, Marines, Army , Air Force, Navy, and anyone generally interested in firearms, NFA Items and the industry.

I am looking for people who can meet once a week (maybe more maybe less) to discuss;

Firearms development
Silencer development
Identify Industry gaps (products lacking in the industry)
Marketing Strategy
Funding strategies
Delivering product to market
Marketing
Manufacturing
Packaging

If interested post your interest and shoot me an email at : delgadojay@live.com

You will have to be dedicated to this group and put forth 100%, you must bring something to the group and have a positive attitude. There will be compensation and/or profit sharing, ownership in patents, etc. We will all discuss this in our first meetings and decide how we go about this.

Hope to hear from you!!

A little more info:

I am way up in Ft. Collins so meeting is trouble for me except on Sundays and Mondays, which are my days off. Weekly meetings are OK, especially if we can meet up somewhere near my way once in a while.

Keep me in the loop, you have my info.

I have had inquiries in regards to the "Master Mind" group concept.

Web definition: "a small group that you meet with for the purpose of reinforcing growth and success while offering support to one another; a group that has been identified and set aside to concentrate specifically on growth and manifesting success in the following areas; finances, spirituality, relationships,.."

The concept is as such; a group of minds coming together to accomplish a common goal and to share in the rewards together. I am wanting to take a group of individuals and focus on;

Firearms development
Silencer development
Identify Industry gaps (products lacking in the industry)
Marketing Strategy
Funding strategies
Delivering product to market
Marketing
Manufacturing
Packaging

We all collectively meet with ideas and agree on a course of action.

My goal would be to develop a product (I have it in mind but will discuss in the group) and get it to market so that a profit is earned. This profit will be divided according to the effort put forth by the individuals who helped get it to market.

We will establish times to meet, were to meet and how often we meet. We will establish rules for all and hold each other to those rules.

I kinda look at it like this; each of us will be founders in what ever it is we create together. If we develop a new weapons system say, then we collectively will hold the patents and reap the benefits.

There have been many master mind groups and the concept isn't new but it can be very beneficial. Think Apple, Microsoft and just about every other Fortune 500 company...

It is what we make it!!

I have never heard about this type of group but it sound pretty awesome. I assume it takes a strong leader to unite everyone, drive consensus, and maintain agreement. Let me look into it with a little more research and let you know.

I do have some hesitation about a weekly meeting as my life just got a little busier. I'm sure once the ground rules have been established and it's up and running then there can be a lot more electronic media? Maybe a weekly range/ meeting session would promote fun. Just a thought.

Great idea by the way,

I'm interested depending on how serious and professional you guys can be. Thats a maybe, and a big maybe. Also, these groups tend to die in the meetings, I dont' think there is realisticaly anyway we could meet every week without the aid of video confrenseing.

Agree 110% with you, we have to all take it serious. It has to be something we are all passionate about and can commit to.

I'm interested as well, but also am not sure about the weekly commitment. Life is busy! once the winter hits I'll have more time.

I think I'm out. I just don't see myself being able to commit the required timeat this point, plus I'm not real sure I have too much to offer. Thanks for the offer though.

Great! So we have one guy out and the other is a drunk! Shaping up nicely....[ROFL1]

Time commitments have not been established, something we will all decide on at the 1st meeting.

Don't believe a full time college student working 30 hours a week would provide much. But it is an awesome idea... I would kill to be able to provide for something like is, but a socy and anth major doesn't help much.

So would we all sign a contract with details on everything? Shares and such?
