Camping is available onsite, in the trees... No water onsite but has crappers and picnic tables.

If interested send an email to the match director for the camping options available (I think no cost).

No tracers but otherwise think you are fine. You will pick up your cases after firing so steel or brass does not matter.

When did they start allowing camping at BCGC again? That is the reason I stopped being a member 4 years ago.

I am planning on bringing my new build, a WOA 18inch 1/7 SPR with an ACOG. I'll be shooting 75gr or 77gr across the course. Also will have the Kimber so I have a nice trigger pull as I miss my pistol targets.

Should be fun and the weather looks nice.

I've only shot at 500-600 yds with my Savage BA 10. So not really sure what to use/bring.

Gonna try to get to the range and see if I should go SCAR 17 with the Vortex PST 1-4x24 or my PTR-MSG with fixed 10 power scope... I've only shot as far as 300 meters with either (more target style meaning trying to get within a 12" circle)

Thoughts?

I normally shoot this range with irons (high power matches), and many will shoot this match that way. You need to have a few mags as you will have stages that require mag changes.

Target are D type I believe, so think center mass and nothing fancy. The match starts at 9 with 8-9 as a sight in period so bring some extra rounds and work out your holds.

Be sure to say hello, I will be driving a tan fj.

We only allow camping when there is an event. And if the match director is there.
Non members can not stay the night without a member being there

Cant wait! Went to BCGC and got some dope and the range time this Sunday. Those targets sure do look small at 600 yards...

Looking forward to meeting some members. Should be fun.

Wanted to be sure that everyone knows you can shoot most anything that is safe, no one will worry about NRA rules on this one, as stated the winner will be a "Service Rifle" (M1, M1a, A2, M4) but what I plan to shoot most likely does not meet that rules with the brake and the tube. I'll just hope Hooser does not kick my ass to badly... or at least is shooting something really cool when he does kick my ass.
