I've been here one month after PCSing from Korea. The southern one. I love CO. The only problem is that all of my guns are in St. Louis.

Welcome.

What branch?
Which base/post were you stationed at in the ROK?
Why are our guns n St. Louis; were you at Scott AFB or possibly the Charles Melvin Rice Support Center before Korea?

Thanks for the welcomes. Actually I am a DoD civilian who has seen more time in combat zones than many of the military I work with. In Korea I lead a US/Korean team that monitored the performance (I am quality assurance) of Korean Air Lines who perform the depot level maintenence the the USAF (and some USMC) aircraft in the Pacific theater (F-15, F-16, C-130, A-10, HH-60, CH-53). I worked at the KAL facility at Gimhae Airport near Busan; about as far south as you can get.

My guns are still in my house in StL, locked in my safe...I hope. There I worked doing QA on new A/C production at McDonnell Douglas and later Boeing (F-15, F-18, AV-8, T-45, C-17).

Now I'm here at Lockheed Martin Space Systems working on the new GPSIII satellite program. A big departure from airplanes!
Welcome.

Ah!

I did 2 tours @ Scott (originally from just East of KC, so too close to home for me). I had a tour to Osan between my 2 Scott tours. Osan was back in 88. Never travelled very far South of Osan while I was there.

Retred now and doing the Defense Contractor thing. Worked GPS for Boeing for a few months in 2005/2006 - hated it. Working for someone else on other stuff now and I like it a lot better.

Gotta go get those guns before winter sets in so you can do a little shooting.

Welcome to CO!
