View Full Version : Need a CCW class
Going to be submitting my CCW in December. I would like to take a class now. My girlfriend also is in need of her class. Here is the thing weekends will work best. I am a member of a range down here if we need. A get up to Denver quite a bit. I am wanting to spend about $100 or less a person. Let me know.

If you want a cheap course, you can find one. If you really want to learn, learn from Bob.

He will actually teach you and train you, not just give you a lecture and booklet. Many people on here will attest to his expertise, skill and training.
Yeah I have talked With a few members about him

Chris was very good, also very reasonable. Lots of shooting instruction and safety info. fixedsighttraining.com
Runs $135, but the range session is held just West of Penrose, which is pretty close to you -- you'd have to come up to the 'springs for the Friday night and Saturday classroom sessions, however: Paradise Sales (http://paradisefirearms.com/paradise/training/training.html).

Did you already make your appointment with the Sheriff? You can do that before you take the class, you just need the class before the appt, which right now is about 2 months out.

I just took the class at sportsman warehouse. It was done by Legal Heat. Only $75 and about 4 hrs. It was a good but basic class and no live fire.
This one was good. Near the Denver airport. $55 three hours. last hour was optional but I stayed and learned alot. No live fire but more than a basic "this is a gun" class.

I got my CCW 86 days later from Boulder county.
Still lookin, I'm having a hard time finding one with my schedule
If they have room, Paradise Sales (http://paradisefirearms.com/paradise/training/training.html). Live fire portion is done in Penrose which is just about local for you.
$125 if memory serves.

For full disclosure I'm a volunteer instructor there.
