Just got a message from a relative in Fort Collins. She normally has a 10 minute commute home from work. Well, the Presidential visit had everything shutdown including large sections of I-25. As we all know, and for good security reason, there is no prior notice regarding which roads will be closed. Her 10 minute commute took her 1.5 hours this evening.

She had to go through parking lots and back streets, etc in order to get far enough south to be allowed to cross over I-25 just to take more country roads to get back north.

I-25 is shut down in sections and being patrolled by air.

If you were considering heading into FtCo or using northern I-25 tonight, you might want to re-think your plans.

A Douche Bag speaking to the liberal masses here in the Peoples Republic of North Boulder. Preaching to his liberal choir of misinformed students.

Said better than I could have.

I call BS on the 1.5hr commute from 10min. I have a 20min drive, and it took me 25 minutes tonight. Came right past CSU just after 5pm, and it was no big deal.

Dang, I was hoping that the Crimson Tide was coming to town. I bet they'd cover the spread against CSU ;)

It took my wife 1.5 hours to get from old Town back to Windsor.

They got part of the team.. their new Coach.. let him do his thing.

Pisses me off something fierce that USC is ranked #1 in pre-season, all the whiny bitchy coaches in the other conferences who can't stand that the SEC is dominating.

They had College Ave closed from north of Drake all the way to Harmony, you could not cross it. Took me 45 minutes to get from Drake and College to Harmony and Corbett, usually only 10 minutes.

Well that's gay. Glad I crossed at Mulberry, and came down Shields.

They blocked off the intersection to my wife's dental office w/o any notice. This is the ONLY access to their office and so not only were they inconvenienced but all of their patients were screwed w/o warning as well. On top of that, traffic was AWFUL in and around Fort Collins for two days. Nothing quite like convincing would-be voters that you understand their plight like putting yourself above them and all of their customers in such a disk-ish manner.

At least Ron Paul had the decency to make his rounds in Colorado via helicopter. Maybe he would have gained more population if he had fucked everyone over the way the others do.

Thursady morn 25 NB, or all things was humper-humper traffic till i passed prospect. EB prospect looked like a mess.
To show you the sheep mentality, the line to exit NB on to prospect was the reason it was stopped dead. You would think (ya think) knowing getting off on prospect was screwed they would go north to 14 and exit. BUT NOOOOOOOO. I counted 25 suba roos trying to get off. Must have been the rapture hoping to catch a glimpse of his highness.
