ok stupid question. what makes a m4 a m4? is just the barrel length? 14 inches right? is a 16" barrel considered an m4? or is it a wannabe? my ars are 10.25", 20", and 24".

shrapmetal, i believe that the short barrel plus the modular design (i.e. collapseable stock, picatinny flat top) make it an M4, though don't quote me on that

Additionally:
14.5" barrel with a groove cut to install grenade launcher as well as improved feed ramp on barrel extension to ensure reliability in feeding heavier bullets in full auto fire.

But, I believed a court ruled last year that anything resembling the Military M4 in a civilian rifle can be called an M4 and is NOT a Colt trade mark.

Here is my first.

Once I move, I'm going to change the stock to a multi-position stock (bye-bye NJ). This one is a bit too short without using a shooting vest.

Let us know how you like that Valdada.. I've had my doubts about getting one because of complaints about the super short eye relief. Still seeing as you can get them for a great price, I'm interested to see what others think.
