Now I know many of us watched the Olympics recently and some of us were even glued to the TV waiting for our favorite Olympic athlete to break a record or win a gold but what about the Para Olympics?

This year was to be the biggest Para Olympic event ever and I can't find a single network here that is going to broadcast it. Some of our athletes are veterans that became disabled because duty called but do we get to witness them on the podium with a medal around their neck?

Personally I am wanting to watch a friend and fellow archer Matt Stutzman go for the gold in Men's Compound Open division. We share a mutual sponsor and I have been following him and his quest for the Para Olympics.

Now what makes Matt so special? He has no arms! That's right folks he has no arms. Born without arms 29 years ago he has gone through life learning how to do things using his feet. The man is amazing and I just wanted to share my disappointment. Sorry for the rant.

If you got moment take a peek here and root for him tomorrow as he goes on his quest for the GOLD!

I was bitching to my wife about this during the regular Olympics. I'd like to see some Para Olympic coverage on prime time TV.

I would suspect they would be supprised at just how many viewers they would get for this if they would bother showing it on tv.

Milehigh, your friend got the Silver and still holds the world record for longest accurate shot of 230 yards. NPR interviewed him today.
