WHAT THE FUCK...is wrong with people. Why can't people be a man of their word and stick by what they say, their agreements and follow through. 2 people this week have bailed on deals that were made with confirmed "i'll take its". Then i have a fucking asshat that I came to a settlement with and now is trying to back out of the deal and causing me more fucking grief...I will show absolutely no mercy to him now.

I really try to give people the benefit of the doubt. I try to let them make good on their promises yet more and more often I find that people are straight up worthless, their word doesn't mean a fucking thing, they couldn't give a shit about anything other than themselves and just hope the other parties involved will let them slide right on by. I am sick and tired of fuckers sliding by all the time.

Thank you for reading, I feel better now.[Tooth]

i feel that that rating is a bit high, not enough name calling and cussing and generally to much of the same feeling that we all have felt at some time or another. I do feel your pain Sniper leave some feedback and move on, drink some of this [Beer] maybe do some of this [UZI] or this [M2] or this [Weight] and good luck with your future sales

The [Beer] is happening as we speak...although mixed drinks, not beer.
The [M2] will happen saturday. I need to get the .50 out for some work.
and the [Weight] will have to wait until tomorrow as I don't want to work out while [Beer] or I might [Puke] if I push myself too hard

Unfortunately people like that don't usually stick around long enough to establish feedback.

Bet it were noobs who stood you up.

Shit, if I say I'll take it - I buy it, even though I realize that I don't need/want the damn thing right after I commit to buy it. Like those damn AK receivers I bought a couple of days ago..... Lol.

Rant 9 out of 10.

Rant = 9/10

I think the current generation of young-ish adults (23-29 yrs old, just starting their own families and getting going in life type of folks) just did not grow up with the sense of personal accountability/responsibility that I had when I was growing up. (there are exceptions to this, also)

If I say I'm going to do something, I ether do it or come back and say that I can't BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE. But, I man-up and admit that I overstretched myself. It has nothing to do with feedback from a website.

example (and yes, I'm tooting my own horn here, so to speak): I told someone from here that I'd sell them an optics mount for $80-100 (I forget the real price I said so). When he got it he said he'd pay more. I told him that I wasn't going to take more than what I'd told him a couple days before, even though he was offering more. I told him I'd sell it for this much, and that's what I got from him.

OP, I feel ya, brother. The kids these days are just about getting on my last nerve. If you want something, go get it. If you say you'll take something, and you then leave someone hanging out to dry, then that says a lot about you as a human.

I have deja vu

Yep, this.

I feel for ya man and as a matter of fact someone did this very thing to me just last week with a rifle I was selling. We were even communicating via text and then out of no where he said he was "no longer interested"....well ok, that sucks but man move one.

If you let this stuff get to you like this you are gonna have a stroke pal.

Move on because this seems to be a reoccurring theme with you Sniper

While it is nice to think that a "I'll take it" is a sure thing. Nothing is sure till you have money in hand. Go into it with that mindset and you are good to go.

Your not the only one on here who has tried to trade or sell something and someone
says "I'll Take It" and then bails either an hour later (much more prefered method) or 10 minutes before we are supposed to meet up.

I honestly have found the older than myself folks are the fickle ones and Im closer to 35 than freshly 34. [Beer]

I've said "I'll take it" in a few deals that I shouldn't have done, but my word is my bond and I intend to keep it that way. So I've never backed out of a deal. I'm sorry that not all folks here do the same.

I agree or how about not responding to a Buy / Trade offer at all.

Just make a list of the douche's and just don't do business with them in the future.

I honestly have found the older than myself folks are the fickle ones and Im closer to 35 than freshly 34.

Well I am coming up on 76 and sure as hell do not want to be included in the "fickle ones" group. I am of the old school. If I give my word, which to me is just as serious as the handshake, that is my bond. If I suddenly have no money for the item that I told a seller "I'll take it", I will sell something quickly or borrow the dough just to keep my word. We all have to keep our word and our priorities in line and "not bite off more than we can chew". OK, end of the sermon for today.

I take offense to any attempt to lump "older" into the same group of fickle flake fucks you may have had misdealings with.

That was my bad. I prioritized 'I'll take it!' AND people I have dealt with many times in the past over the newer guys - Then once the PM read, I forgot to come back and tell you GONE!!! Thread was updated.
