I love my Sig, when it functions, but frankly "hell and back reliability" it is not. I have been told by several gunsmiths to only use Sig factory springs in sigs, but I have had 2 of them break (trigger bar spring and slide release spring). Were these just flukes from a bad batch or is there better quality aftermarket springs out there?

I'd check gunsprings.com and see what they make for it. Never had or heard of any complaints about Wolff.

What in Gods name are you doing to be breaking Sig springs? I have worked on many Sigs but a broken spring was never the issue. I have seen them bent from improper installation but never broken.

You should quit abusing you Sig..

I've got 5 and never had an issue on any of them..

Did you try your gunsmithing skills on them?

I agree, I've owned and currently own classic sigs, never an issue.
