I know you can send your pistol in to sig to get this done, but frankly my faith in them has wavered since the last time they sent me back my pistol with a broken spring in it. If they can't spot that WTF? I live in Lafayette. Is there any smiths around here that can do this?

Just order the trigger from Sig and then come see me. I am 10 minutes from Lafayette.[Beer]

Doing an SRT on a Sig is not a hard job. Just takes some know-how - and luck. I have been a Sig armorer for years and have done probably 30 SRTs. Some of them take 10 minutes - some take an hour. Its just how the god of pins and parts wants things to line up that day.

I just did one for a buddy 2 weeks ago and it went right in slicker-than-snot. Then we took it back apart so I could show my buddy how easy it was - it took 45 minutes to put it back in. *sigh*

But Bert will take care of you. Go see him.

You can find them at http://www.topgunsupply.com/sig-sauer-srt-kit-p220.html which is nice. When I was looking to do my 226 a while back Sig wasn't letting the kits go to anyone that wasn't an armorer. Cool to see they're back in stock.
