Anyone have a Magpul AFG or AFG2 on there pump shotgun? I was thinking about getting one due to wrist issues. I thought the angled grip would help.
Any thoughts?

Do it. I like the grip angle on my AR and other rifles. Was going to do one one a mossy, just not on a priority list at this time.

I got a 2 on mine. I like it.

I have it mounted back so I really only use the front halve of it. I don't think it's a must have, but I see it as an extra something to work the action in off shooting positions.

I've got one I was going to put on but decided to keep it for an AR project. When I tested it out I didn't like the way it felt on the pump, but I know a lot of people love them.

I'd get the 2 for sure though. The original afg has those risers on the front that sometimes dont sit level in the pump without shaving them

Thanks for the responses. I went to Bowers yesterday and bought one. I wasnt sure if I would like it on my shotgun. I originally was going to buy it for my AR. I tried on both and liked it so much that now I have to go buy a 2nd one.

bumping this... is it possible to add a AVG to the 870 magpul grip?

Yes. if there are no slots like an ar moe a few holes and one of their rails you're gtg.
