So last weekend so cleaning my guns after the range in my uncles shop, one of the c clips comes off the assembly and parts for shooting everywhere. Needless to say I lost some. O I ordered a used a used assembly off fleabay but I can't get the thing reassembled now. Anybody live in the highlands ranch area and want to assist?

If memory serves me, those trigger groups are kind of tricky to reassemble.

Of course I was probably 16 the first (and last) time I did it.

Good luck. [Awesom]

Start with grammar, the marlin will fix itself.

Mine was a real dicksucker last time I had to do it. I think I used some tape around everything to hold it all together while I pushed some other parts in and finally had victory. Good luck, I'm way too far away

Wow, that's the last time I post from my phone...anyways, I picked up a complete assembly off of ebay since the price of replacement parts was the same. My issue is that I can't get the assembly into the reciever. I'll take some pics when I get home this evening.

Try taking a pic and posting, not a fun outcome sometimes. Especially if the pic is one not to be seen by "all"

I've never had that problem. Heck, I have a Marlin 795 right now and it is pretty much identical to the model 60 except it is magazine fed and not tube fed and I have no problems taking it apart and putting it back together.

Sorry, I have no ideas for you.

It's hard to see in the pics but the feed throat on the newer assembly is different and causing the bolt to catch. I'm gonna attempt to make 2 worthless pieces 1 working one. Update shortly

I believe I recall working on one a while back.
Kind of cantankerous, if you get stuck give a holler.

Well that was a waste of 40 minutes, I guess there's an old model and new model for these. I had a working old model last weekend, now I have parts of an old model and parts of a new model. Anybody want to buy a project?

$75? I just paid $40 more for the parts that came today. Shoot me a pm if interested, this wasn't meant to become a sale thread. Thanks

Heh, we used to call those C-clips "Jesus clips"....as in, "Jesus! Where'd that lil' sumbitch go?" Same with those little hairpin-looking clips.
