View Full Version : Not gonna lie. I would want to buy this from an FFL
Call me what you will. If I were to buy this I would have the number run to make sure it was not stolen.

Well, he doesn't look like the typical .243 shooter if that's what you're thinking ;). I wonder if he's even of age to own a firearm?
Don't know. But college town lots of hang stuff. Who know if it was stolen

We FFLs can't "run the number" - only the police can do that.
The only sure way I know to get the police to run it is if you pawn it.

If he is the original owner can't it be transferred via ffl? Pardon the ignorance.

It might help convince the gendarmes that you're not the thief it it turns out it was stolen. If that is true you'll just have to give it up. Could be okay. Lots of kids come from hunting families but hunting involves going outside and away from video games, internet porn and maybe even out of cell range.

Ever think the seller had his son hold it so it wasn't laying on the floor?
It's greeley, lot's of 243's 270's floating around the town. Probably more than you would think. Having contact info and printing out the ad will CYA. IF an issue arose of ownership.
You want it i'll go pick it up for you.
