View Full Version : Poor Decisions...
I have a dilemma...
One night after a few too many and watching people blow up things with tannerite I decided to make what I thought at the time was a really awesome target.
So I looked around to find something awesome that I could just blow up.
Enter a 5ft tall leopard. I saw him in the corner of my basement just staring at me... Well I'm not one to let something stare at me and get away with it. So I pulled out my knife and thrust it deep into his belly instantly killing the leopard.
I then proceeded to put 5lbs of tannerite in him...
Now here's my problem. He's full of those tiny foam pellets which would probably just blow away if there was some wind. I don't want to clean up millions of tiny foam pellets.
Does anyone know of a good place I could execute the leopard?
Also, a pic for good measure.

So let me get this right.... You want our recommendation of a location you can litter our public shooting ranges that are already littered enough. Here's a fvcking idea, be part of the solution not the problem with site cleanup and do it in your back yard.

Drain all the pellets into the trash can.
Then stuff said target with tannerite.
Just stand back a 'few' extra feet and you should be good to go !!
Ok, ok, not really. [Flower]

Yeah good luck finding someone too invite you onto their paid range orrivate property so you can scratch your itch.[Mad]

I'll supply the leopard with a means of self defense to make it fair. [ROFL1]

How do you know someone doesn't need a whole lot of foam pellets on their land to cushion it for their... Horses or cows.
Let's be optimistic.

OP, make a really big effort to clean up and no one should be upset.

5lbs of tanneritte and a stuffed animal full of styrofoam. What is he going to do, vacuum when he is done?
ETA: Keep in mind we are talking about the stuff inside of a bean bag chair. I had one of those go pop inside and keep finding that stuff for weeks after I cleaned up with a vacuum and no wind.

I bet there are some people that would like to see that go off. They might even help pick up if there was a promise of more to come. [Beer] Have to add...don't do it anywhere public or that could burn. But you know that already. Also, OP I thought the dilemma was that you stuffed the cat with tannerite before it dawned on you that your kid would be mad.

Hey, they make those portable vacs for a reason, right?

Remove tannerite. Sew leopard shut and sacrifice it elsewhere.
One of the coolest stuff with tannerite is ice. I have a freezer that i don't use a lot. Once I used a bunch of long flat plastic trays as forms and froze a bunch of ice. I have a couple of large coolers so it made it out to the range still frozen and I built enclosures for the tannerite out of ice. Wish I'd brought my camera but it was spectacular. Made me want to try it again with some food coloring in the water.

I would go with this if the agreement was everyone on the show had to spend eternity picking up foam beads [Flower]
Take the Tanerite out of the leopard and no one gets hurt [Stooge]
Ice sounds pretty cool [Beer]

Until you have big solid ice cubes flying towards you.
When are the idiots going to learn not to ask stupid shit..
I tell you what.. You can use some land I have access too. As long as I get to come shit and piss all over your place and make an attempt at cleaning it up.[Coffee]
Find a landfill that will allow you to shoot it on site. Choose a windless day. Afterwards, go to one of the public ranges and haul out at least 1 pickup load of trash.
How about Five Points? That whole area is a garbage dump and the gangbangers usually start shooting their guns in the air around midnight, so a couple more shots won't make much of a difference. Find an alley between two concrete buildings and duct tape it to a dumpster. Keep your attorney's card in your wallet and make sure your wife has at least a grand for the bondsman.

Jesus, chill out guys.
We're gun owners, we're suppose to freak out over everything that we don't like.
Landfill sounds like a good place if one will let you shoot there.
Remove the foam and replace it with popcorn. The popcorn will either biodegrade or get eaten by the local critters. Throw in a couple pounds of bacon and your time at the range will smell heavenly.

Whoa, pull in the big horses there fellas, this stagecoach needs to come to a halt.
If I correctly read what the OP was asking, I think he wants to know how to empty the leopard @ home, fill it with something less messy and easy to clean up, THEN go to the range to blow it up. No mess at either a public or private range.
OP - Did I get that right?
Hey, they make those portable vacs for a reason, right?
If I got it right above, the use of a vacuum looks to be the best way to empty the leopard. It'll keep from having those pellets hiding all over your house for years to come.
What to refill it with later to get it filled out, I dunno... Bags/partial bags of ice?
ETA: just read SAnd's comment above... Yup, I'd go with real (not styro) popcorn.

Isn't this where you are supposed to mention that you have purchased carbon credits and you want to use them for this experiment? There for there is not any real damage to the environment.
Ok now that that is solved let us discuss the fact that you have recruited a suicide bomber and are about to set this reign of terror into motion... What did you promise the leopard? A bunch of vigins?

No matter where you do this experiment, make sure you have a fire extinguisher handy! Little incendiaries all over the place are sure to make you unpopular. Better yet maybe you can have a whole fire department there! You never know until you ask...

Ashton,
I hope you are all butt hurt over the responces you got, your thread title is fitting.
Ginsue, Ashton was only concerned with not having to "pick up millions of styro foam beads" and didn't ask about alternate stuffing materials. Just wanting suggestions for a place to accomplish the act of littering.
Now the re-stuffing with real popcorn idea sounds OK, but may be flammable if the tannerite produces flames, so a good clearing would be needed, preferably bare rock. And if an area like that could be found, an invite to the site members, or at least a video posted would be nice.........[Tooth]

If you're going to refill it - how about red ballistic gelatin? You'll also have to provide pictures of the shoot.
Steve
Collect and fill it with all the other bad idea threads.
So since you already put the tannerite inside the thing, did you mix it first?
I thought we were all on the same page that tannerite does not create flames.

I think ZS just got himself on somebody's watch list..................Still funny though...[LOL]
Am I the only one disturbed by the fact that he had this giant stuffed animal just sitting around his house in the first place. [Coffee]
Hell... I probably would have loaded it full of tennerite, blown the damn thing up, and never told anyone I had the damn thing.

I would just be worried about mixing tannerite with the foam. Unless you are a chemical engineer with experience in explosives, you are taking chances. One guy set off a 100 lbs of Tannerite in the back of a dump truck and the explosion could be felt 5 miles away. See the hood of the car flying through the air...click the link for the full story.

Whew, the heat is off my RTD thread. ha ha
Cut up the leopard a few more times, make sure it's leaking foam well, box it up and ship it to someone you don't like. Let them clean up the mess.
Should have saved it without any damage and given it to Childrens Hospital, they could have used it probably for some kiddo. We did that with an un-wanted gifted stuffed animal.
You should just shoot it as-is in your basement and post a youtube video for awesome points.

I'd throw in a dollar to see that. [Awesom]
