View Full Version : Hunting forum
Would there be any interest in a hunting specific forum? A place where we could discuss hunting gear, game times, small game, legalities and other outdoor activities etc.
I'd say see how the poll does over the next couple of days. Then We'll see what the Big dogs say.
yea and have a sticky in there of good spots !! you dont have to give your super secret spot but just good areas.

Well let's see since hunting is my life and the reason for my screen name I think you can count me in. I have thought about proposing this for some time just wanted to wait untill we got a new home and all the bugs worked out.

[HiFive] Absolutely Great Idea! And who better to moderate it than HunterCO. I vote for this addition to the forum. I'd be more than glad to nominate AR Will as a Moderator of this New Hunting Forum. Thank You! [Coffee]That is All.

So Will, how did the thinning of the herd go?

Steve,
I got 27 confirmed, and put about 250 rounds total at targets. Sometimes you ca'nt find their remains, or they fall into their holes. Most of the time you can tell the hits when you hear the thump of the round hitting them.
My friends have so much land and you could shoot all day and not impact the population. I was the only one hunting today.
The coolest part was that I found a 5 point shed. I have seen game, signs, rubs and trails. I'm hoping this season there maybe a trophy 6x6 out there.

Hunting forum? All up for it, tired of hitting paper, especially as I didn't draw this year!

There was good news and bad news for me this year. The good news is I drew an either sex tag. The bad news is I was also in the draw for one of the limited spots in the new Colorado State Park near Cortez but wasn't successful this year. So I'm going to be hunting the area outside the park and in the Lizard Head area.
Anybody hunted that area with camping and area recommendations?
