So this guy contacts me about my FS2k on armslist, says he wants to check it out. The first contact is on saturday, he says he will be back in town monday. So monday comes and I ask if he is comming to see it, he says yeah about 7:30, he no shows and I ask him whats up, he says his wife is grouchy so he will come tomorow.
I tell him tomorow is no good because my son has practice after work and I wont get home till late but if my GF will pick him up than he can come. He says cool, the GF says cool.
Contact him today and say hows 6;15, he says perfect. Well at about that time he no-shows again and stops responding, now the GF is pissed she left work to go get my son for some asshat who no-shows.
This is on top of the Boner this weekend who failed to read the email and jerked me off all day only to last minute tell me he is in MD, yeah sure im shipping a rifle that retails near 3Gs and just hope you pay. And the guy who shows up and has no ID, sorry butt nugget no sale!!!!
BTW the guys name is Alex M (obviously not our own beloved Alex who is a stand up guy)

I don't do Armslist for this very reason.
I put a gun on Armslist last week. Have had two people contact me about it. One offered up a nice revolver in trade, and the other politely asked me my best price and then said the price was more than he was willing to pay.
Maybe my gun just isn't operator enough for these guys...
Small step above Craigslist is what it sounds like. I had the worst time selling some stuff on that damn site.

I've only bought one gun off armslist. Went smooth as a baby's bottom. But I was worried that the same thing was going to happen to me the whole time.

You do know you don't ship until the Postal Money Order is in your hands, deposited and funds are available?????
Just wondering because its more trust for the folks buying an expensive firearm than the one shipping said rifle.

yeah I know, but a large part was a trade, and he attempted to say send the rifle THEN he would send the money and the gun.

Well, if you didn't leave negative feedback...
At least that is an option on COAR. Keeps some people honest.

Well then that way does sound like potential to lose your item have no real recourse once its in the other party's hands.
I get some strange offers from armslist folks. They ask for a $$$ value
and I tell em $300 plus over MSRP and get Nigerian scam style responses. [Bang][Bang][Bang]
