Hey guys, several of you already know this but I have accepted a position in Seattle for at least 12 months with Precor ( www.precor.com ) one of Nautilus competitors. Washington state has some screwy class 3 restrictions, no MG's, SBR's, or AOW's I can take my suppressors up there and even mount them on a gun but if I send a round down the barrel I have committed a class B misdemeanor punishable by up to 1 year in Jail. I guess I will be taking a LOT of trips to Oregon and Colorado. Some of you may be wondering, "Why in hell would Ken do this? Well, it is a really good job for advancing my career and they almost doubled my salary. I am keeping my house in Colorado. I also will help organize and fly back for another Colorado Silencer Shoot. Topherseven and I went to the SilencerTalk/AAC shoot in Atlanta this year and it was awesome.

My first day at the new job is July 9th and I am driving out there on the 7th. I am going to miss you guys and Colorado but I would be a fool to pass up this opertunity (Topherseven said he would kick me in the balls if I turned down the job). I will be flying to Colorado quite a bit and can hopefuly make it to a shoot.

Take care guys,
Ken

Good luck, Ken. We'll miss you.

Despite the FU'ed NFA laws, there's worse places you could have ended up. Seattle is a very beautiful city with lots to offer. I almost moved there twice. Once to work for HP in Everett and once to work for Boeing.

A friend of mine and his wife had moved there from Phoenix. He told me the first winter was strange since they were so acclimated to longer winter days, low precip and sunshine. They fell in love with the natural beauty of the place though. I'm sure it will work out well for you.
