Hello,
I'm a new member and would like to introduce myself. I'm a former Desert Shield era Marine. I've owned a couple guns for home defense for quite some time and I have come to realize that I don't shoot near enough. For example; I've shot less that 50 rounds through the Glock I've had for about 15-ish years. I'm looking to change that as I've always enjoyed shooting and am interested in getting my skill set up in hand gun and rifle work through classes (when I can afford it) and shooting on private(with permission) or public lands (as soon as I can find some place local), etc. I'm on a pretty tight budget.
I'm also in the process of s-l-o-w-l-y building my first AR. I've not shot that platform since I was in the military, but am enjoying piecing it all together and the research I've done in learning about it and finding parts.
I live in the Erie/Lafayette/Firestone area.
