Springfield Armory - great customer service!

I recently purchased a SA 1911 Loaded. There was a coupon in the case for discount on magazines and other accessories. However the magazine that came with the Loaded wasn't included. So today I called customer service about it. The gal I was speaking to said no problem, just add it to the list and gave me the part # and the sale price. So that was cool. Then I asked about the kydex holster that came with it and whether I could exchange it for a left handed holster. She said no they couldn't exchange, but they would just send me a left handed holster. So while she was looking it up, she said she almost wrote down the part # for the XD holster. So then I said well I have an XDm 9mm and I could use a left hand holster for that also. So they are going to send me 2 holsters - no charge!

And I love the Loaded it is very nice to shoot and very accurate. Plus great customer service! I am very pleased with my first 1911 purchase.

Springfield Armory will do almost anything for you. That's why you can buy ANYTHING they make without the slightest worry. If even the most minor thing is off- they will bend over backwards to fix it.[Beer]

So maybe I should send mine back in to have the Parkerized finish fixed? They missed an oddly shaped spot on the inside of the slide. I suspect contamination during the parking.

Think they would take care of it after 6 months of ownership? It would probably only be considered cosmetic.

BTW, love, love, love mine too. Everyone that shoots it, even the Colt bigots say they like it very much. I dunno, maybe they're just being polite. :D

Thanks for the heads up! I have owned Springfield's for the last couple years and didn't even realize they would send me a left handed holster for my XD45. Unfortunately I am going to have to wait a little longer for my XDs though until they produce one but still very happy that they are willing to accommodate for us lefties and that I have an XD holster being shipped that will actually be of use for me.

You should give them a call. I'd be willing to bet that they would take care of it for you.
