I tried, lasted under a minute before i told the wife i couldn't deal with the bs. Can i get that 54 seconds back of my life somehow?
I liked the part where he clapped for himself, pretty much summed up his whole term in office so far
Yeah, pat himself on the back for such a job well done.
from now on, I am just going to ask everyone I see that wants to talk to me about politics, obama etc: "Has your life got better or worse in the last 4 years, has your taxes got better, have you bought a new car, have you kept your house, have your food prices gone up, have your investments gained like you thought, have your friends kept their jobs/homes etc?"
then when they think about it and tell me not really, their lives have not really improved or it has been very little improvement. I will simply tell them 4 years is long enough to continue to place the blame on bush, his hope and change has failed you and now it is not only time for a new president, but for lots of new senators, congressman, and every other elected official out there to know our dis-satisfaction.
Same old rhetoric. Sounded like the last 3 sotu address and the same regurgitated lies from four years ago.
The details promised were not delivered.

Since his term in office precious metals have soared! House prices have went down and food prices will soar next year! It's called a drought. If they attack Iran over the nuclear weapons issues, oil will soar too. I been stocking up on food and ammo. I want to buy a newer motorcycle because I think gas prices are going to rise after the election. I will just put it off because I have too much debt to service...I just want to be debt free! Free at last...free at last...

you will just be taxed back into debt!
From each according to his ability, to the government which will oversee the redistribution of our labors.

I tuned into the Science Channel for a bit of "How It's Made", then turned it to the DNC to watch a little of " How It Was Destroyed". ;)

[Beer] I'll say I have bought a new car... but that happened in a microcosm that had nothing to do with Obama (Deployment cash bought me that!), but everything else, no, not a thing has really improved... I say since this first term is coming to an end we can really pull out all the stops and blame Obama now. Bush has gotten enough flak, I think it's time to look at this and think that if things were really that messed up under Carter, and things were already improving during Reagan's first term, then it's not a stretch to believe we're beyond the Bush-blaming segment of our show and we can now point the finger to this Administration.
I didn't even give him a second of my time, and he got all that he deserved..

1984 is starting, along with atlas shrugged if the kenyan gets relected. I really think people are stupid.

I couldn't agree more. I'm afraid we're going to have our own Communist revolution here, or something similar, if he gets to keep his job.
I'm WAY better off now than when he was elected. Has nothing to do with Obama or any of his policies though.

He said it himself in 2008...he WILL cut the deficit in half and be held accountable...if it doesn't happen he will be a one term president. HE said it.
But wait, he needs more time!
Much of the "specifics" he gave last night for the new jobs he wanted to create were almost word-for-word what he said last time.
The man set his goal, failed miserably and now wants to try again. What a turd.
And 9news.com ran "fact checks" after many of the RNC speeches...basically saying how many truths those guys stretched. So far nothing for the DNC speeches. Good job 9 News...UPDATE: They finally posted something...
PS - Clinton said if you want a winner takes all country, vote for Mitt. If you want a country where everyone shares, vote for O. Winners should eff'in win. What have we come to?
