cheapest accurate rifle I have ever owned, she shoots .4 with ultramax 55gr Vmax I would bet money could do better with a better piece of glass. I ripped that optic off of my old .22 its a 20 dollar BSA.
Needs better glass think I am goin to get a nice 3-9x for it
Pre Accutrigger Savage .223

Ar Will,
The Savage is capable of 1/2 MOA when I do my part, and I wasn't upset about painting a $300 rifle. The Accutrigger, as goofy as it first feels and looks, is really adjustable, and if I were to buy another factory rifle that I could shoot straight out of the box, Savage would be on the top of my list.
I like the accutrigger system on my 308. I'm considering the 223 in either savage or tikka.
I'm going to have to shoot one of the Savages one of these days.. but the accutrigger just doesn't seem like such a big deal to me. I don't know why folks have issues adjusting the Remmy triggers.. two screws and plent of instructions out there. I've got mine down to 2.5lbs with next to no creep. It's all good right?
