So, I was on the way home from work today and decided to pick up some ammo for my new AK. 5280 is kinda on the way, so I headed in that direction. While heading east on 52nd from Wads, I noticed a guy waving a "Guns for Sale" sign on the sidewalk at 6770. I thought to myself, "I'm your Huckleberry!", and pulled up to the storefront of OD GREEN SUPPLY.
Apparently these guys have only been open there for about (3) months, but are always at the Tanner shows. Now that I think about it, these are the guys with all the cases of ammo by the food service area, (Yumm, breakfast burritos!) The store is good size. Not too big, not too small. Tons of different ammo by the case or box, and a good variety of handguns and long guns on the walls and in display cases.
Helpful staff, and LE friendly discounts. Didn't have time to check out all their prices, but from what I saw, it was pretty reasonable for retail. Just an example. They have a big box of black 30rd Tapco AK-47 mags for only $10 each, and $1 off each additional purchase. I also saw a bunch of P-mags and even Tapco AK-74 mags. Check out their Saiga conversions while you're there. Pretty sweet.

I definitely plan to stop in again when I have more time, (and money!) Here's their info:

Stopped in there today, fair prices, nice people, they even have a Shield in the case for sale (549). Decent bulk ammo prices.

I stopped by yesterday and perused. Not bad pricing. They are selling a brand of sight called Schonfeld that I've seen at the gunshot occasionally that sell in the $200 range. I've tried to find information on the company and products on the web and haven't been successful at all.

I ask one of the guys about the sights and company and instead of just admitting he didn't know much or anything, he tries to blow smoke up my tailpipe. he kept saying you can't believe what you read on the internet and I kept saying I couldn't find anything on the company, the brand or the sights. He showed me the single piece of paper that is included in the box and there is no company information on it other than a P.O. Box number in Littleton to send the sight for repair to.

Why would I spend $250.00 on an unknown company and product ar red dot sight when I can get Burris 332 for a few bucks more and I know that company and the product reputation?

I don't think I will be returning there anytime soon.

Came across this gunshop the other day while on the way to 5280.

The shop is run by Andy from the Tanner gun show. He is always in the back near the food stand selling bulk ammo.

Neat little shop.

^Used to be Westminster Arms. Went there a couple months ago. Apparently Andy and the other owner had a falling out and parted ways.

Yep don't know the full story but I moved John's, owner of Westminster Arms, safe out of there.

For all of you Hi-Point lovers and shooters, there's a new employee there by the name of Russ. He is THE MAN to talk to regarding Hi-Points.

Andy was on Apocalypse 101 on NatGeo. Wonder if he provided the ammo & what their cost was...

Visited today - I'm appalled.
Prices are obscene. They are price gougers.
They have plenty of ammo in stock but priced at 3 to 4 times retail.
Examples:
Blazer / wolf 9mm $45 per box of 50 rounds
American Eagle .22 LR, $149 for box of 500 rounds
No name 230 grain,. 45 ACP $449 per ammo can of 500 rounds.

$ .30 a round for crap .22, and dang near $1.00 a round for .45 acp or Wolf 9mm. Really?

They will never get a dime in business from me.

Unfortunately same to report. $139 for a box of 525 bulk Federal .22LR! Similar on other ammo types (probably why they have so much in stock. 4x's going prices on some mags, etc.

Guns are higher than most, but not totally outrageous.

Hope they get some realistic pricing, or I see them fading into the sunset.

You've gotta remember, my initial review was just a few months after Aurora, and months before Sandy Hook...

Yep definitely bad business. Anyone who jacks up prices that much should not get any business. Very very poor business decision

I will NEVER go back in that place again.

I go in there every couple of weeks just to remind myself of how bad they suck. "Keep your friends close and your enemies closer".

Went in for the first time the other day. I wish I would've read the previous comments, the prices are INSANE! Must've gone to the Armslist School of Business [LOL]

I hope they go out of business.

It's a waiting game and I don't think we will be waiting too long.

Checked it out when I happened to drive by. Remington .22 costs $89 per box of 525. Buckets of 1400 rounds of same cost $229. The banter I overheard among the employees sucked 30 IQ points out of my brain.

Check this thread out in the General Discussion.
Did they find a way to move the ammo?

Not much has changed. Was just in there and CCI .22 100 round pack $39, they had more than a few on the shelf. The guy in the plate carrier and beard and the other guy in plate carrier and beard were busy taking apart 30 round magazines. Rude attitude towards other customers, expensive guns, and just a slimy feeling while walking around, like the ATF was about to walk in at any point.
