Does anyone know any good places to buy Rem .223 ammo?
I reload all of mine, but I have found some good deals at s.g. link below, if you use coupon code SG869 you will get $10.00 off any order over $99.00

Unfortunately, it's criminally overpriced everywhere. Reloading is the way to go if you want relatively inexpensive .223.
No kidding. I don't currently have time to reload and prices have more than doubled over the last year. Throw in the price of gas and going to a shoot seems to become a $200 day.
AIM Surplus has some 223 instock

i called aim last friday and they told me they were sold out of everything.
Dillon Precision has reloaders in stock.
UPS just dropped off two 650s at my place yesterday.
Two more reloaders? Crap Tom, how many reloaders do you have now?

more than Dillon has in stock [ROFL2]
I am about to break down and get a 1050 for 9mm and 223 chores, mainly .223

The 650s arent mine. I ordered them for a couple friends that shoot the Pueblo steel matches.
And I think one more 1050 should do it. One in 9x19 and 40. One for just 223 and the last for 45ACP.
is the 1050 worth it over the 650?
Who has the best deals?
I think the 1050 is worth it.
It comes completely set up with dies and a casefeeder. Something you pay extra for those with the 650. The 1050 is a turn key reloader if you will.
The 650 requires you to push forward on the handle to seat the primer where the 1050 does it on the downstroke. It saves a step and time.
The 1050 has a built in primer pocket swage which is good in case you run into GI brass.
Without breaking a sweat or getting crazy, well over 1,000 rounds per hour is very doable with the 1050. Going fast I can get 1,300. 223 is much slower with both machines as you have to wait for the powder to drop and powder spillage is a big concern with the 223.
Brian Enos has good prices.
If you get a 650, do yourself a favor and never pull the handle on a 1050...

How much do these reloaders tend to run?
How much do these reloaders tend to run?
650s run 600-ish before dies and 1050s run 1400-1500.
