BCM vs Noveske, promotional videos

In researching my AR-15 purchase I found these two very contrasting videos. I know that both companies produce high quality rifles, but one of these videos impressed me, and the other turned me off. Thought I'd see if you guys have a similar reaction.

Don't have any experience with either of these manufacturers, but after watching both vids I've got to go with BCM.

Marketing and brand image are things that smaller-time gun manufacturers and schools don't appreciate very often. It's nice to see BCM does.

I got to "wall of awesomeness" and shut the other one down. I know Noveske produces great stuff, but damn, that's one cheesy, low value vid.

One thing about BCM that made me cringe though was "operators operating overseas."

Just go all the way and say "operators operating operationally."

I don't see why you would compare the 2 videos. They are clearly created for different purposes.

BCM video is more of a professional marketing video. More of a "mission statement".
Noveske video is more of a "hey, here's a fun video showing some of our daily operations."

I see most are having the same reaction I did. I found the BCM promo first, and was impressed. When I later found the Noveske video I expected to see a similar impressive and professionally presented profile of their company, considering the great reputation they have for producing a best of breed product. I was shocked at what I saw. It was so juvenile. I couldn't help but have second thoughts about them.

Actions speak louder than words. In the end you have to put aside marketing hype and ask yourself who puts out the best product for your need and supports the product and customer best. If you think that's one over the other based on one small glimpse into either, go confidently into your choice. Professionally produced marketing videos are made with a purpose - to convince you to buy said product. I think bcm did a great job of that.

I'm not defending either, but I have to be convinced to have confidence in the products I purchase or they'll be kicked to the curb. My first and only AR-15 is a Noveske and I'd trust my life to it.

Regardless of marketing, I would entrust my life to the products of either company as long as they continue to produce the quality components that they do now. I own BCM rifles and gear, but have a Noveske on my shortlist as well.

Their purpose becomes somewhat irrelevant once they hit YouTube - people (some informed, some not), will compare them. Most companies have initial control over their image, how they choose to exercise that control going forward is entirely up to them.

My Noveske's shoot small groups, are reliable & work GREAT with the Switchblock while suppressed. Haven't played with BCM but I'm sure they work great too.

I have shot many many Noveskes and many many BCMs. Noveske makes a kick ass product but all my M4s are BCM.
