So today the Voter Signer Uppers were out in Fountain.
This is the 3rd one I have encountered in 3 days who DID NOT ASK ME IF I WANTED TO REGISTER as I walked by!!!
So, as Im walking into Walmart I ask the guy if he was registering people to vote and he says yes. I then asked him why he had not stopped ME to see if was interested. He had no answer, just look of "Oh no, someone is asking me questions!" but finally asked if I would like to sign up.
I then say that Im already registered and I plan to vote that POS in the White House out in Nov. He then says "Obama?" like he was not sure. I said yes, then he begins to ask me questions like "Are'nt you "Latino"?", which he was, and I said yes, but that does not mean I'm a Democrat. Then he goes into "Well, don't you want to own a home?" Then I tell him I already DO own my own home and he starts to ask something else and I stop him and tell him I know what he is up to and he is looking to register "SPECIFIC PEOPLE/VOTER's".
Then I here a lady say "Get a Job!" Im like who the F is that? Turns out it is someone I knew in my Army days (Francy!! SCANKOR you know her!!!!, I was not going to turn down a hug from those puppy's....I mean her!! HER HER!!!!!!)
When I came out he had moved on.

Anyways, anyone else get this type of crap yet.[Rant1]

They look at me funny and walk off...

If you look Latino and he purposely did not ask you if you were registered, I don't see the issue assuming he's looking for Obama supporters. Sounds like you were infering he was trying to register Dems, so at first glance he should have approached you. I'm confused.

You don't live in a place like fountain or pueblo. Where people are lazy fat and on welfare or food stamps

They're annoying. Stop bugging people about voting. If you can't figure out how to get registered to vote then I don't want them to vote. I'll shop at Target, where they keep the riff raff out from I front of their store.

"then I got a job keeping people from hanging out in front of the drug store"

PS. Who did you see?

I went to the El Paso County license branch off of Union yesterday and 2old guys were out front (on either side of the door) with Romney signs & they were registering folks to vote. As I walked by they asked me if I was registered yet - I must be their demographic. Thing is, the license branch also registers people to vote. I overheard one employee asking folks getting renewed drivers licenses if they wanted to register to vote. You'd think the Romney folks would have been in front of the Albertons grocery nearby instead.

C'mon, Ginsue...the guys who are soliciting people to register as republicans hang out in front of the country clubs. You should know that.

Down here it's the the opposite, If Romney came down here he'd be talking about the "%93".I hate this POS town and can't wait to leave...

They have been outside the Evergreen post office lately... it used to be these environmentalist petition d-bags but when I over heard them asking if people were registered to vote I knew different. They asked me, and I told them yes. Then they asked my party affiliation- I told them I'm a registered republican but a supporter of the Tea Party. That shut him up quick![Tooth]

I'd rather they catch me in front of a grocery store or Walmart instead of cold-calling me on my cell phone. Guy from 970 just didn't get it when I told him I saw exactly three reasons for voting for Obama this year: 1) being asleep for the past 3.5 years, 2) being a die-hard Marxist or 3) being a brainwashed mindnumbed robot with IQ lower than my age. I finally had to just hang up on him.

I've had a little fun messing with the push polls. Had one call last week and the conversation went something like this:

Pollster - Hi, I'm xxxx with ABCD consulting. Do you have time to answer some questions?
Me - Is this a push poll?
Pollster - Uh, yes (wow - honesty or did he misunderstand me?)
Me - Sure, why not? Just make it quick, I'm cooking dinner.
Pollster - Are you going to vote for Mitt Romney or Barack Obama?
Me - The Libertarian candidate.
Pollster - Johnson?
Me - Yep.
After asking me a bunch of issue questions to determine how "angry or upset" I am about them...
Pollster - So, thinking about the issues that make you angry or upset, are you more likely to vote for Mitt Romney or Barack Obama?
Me - Uh, Johnson! :D

I'll probably vote for Romney come November, but damn if it doesn't feel like another South Park rerun. I have little faith in Romney's ability to really move the ball in a useful direction (like towards greater individual liberty).

I had one last week (I know you can't be 100% sure, but I believe the caller to be a younger African American) where they started to ask me "feeling" questions about Romney. I answered that he was unqualified, having lived in Mass while he was governor I knew he was full of shit.. etc.

He was typing away trying to keep up. he then asked
"if the election was tomorrow who would you vote for"

I answered Romney and there was a moment of silence..... he said, you just told me that he was "unqualified...etc" why would you vote for him?

and I said as bad as Romney is, he's still a better choice than the idiot, liar we have now.

in less than a second he said thanks, and hung up the phone.

I'm "unenrolled" so I get daily calls from both sides, depending on my mood, I'll play a little while

The nature of some of these push calls is one thing that gives me hope despite the media's concerted attacks on Romney and cover-ups of Obama's failings. I sense a deep feeling of desperation from "Organize for America" and the other cover organizations making these calls.

I was leaving "Noodles and Company" today and some fluffer looking Obot asked me if I would like to "Register to vote for Obama".
I asked him if he would like to get stuck in the neck with his own pen.
He didn't answer.
I got into my truck with the "NObama" sticker on it and drove away.

I had to laugh to myself what a dildo he was, I am wearing BDU pants and a Stag Arms shirt...not exactly the demographic.

I am building up the courage to do it. I will then claim it as a workplace injury and take paid time off.
