Out of the Corps and back to CO!!

I just wanted to make a celebratory post here. Tomorrow morning, I will officially be honorably discharged from the Marine Corps, and will be loading up the Subaru for the drive back to Colorado. Ive been out in SoCal for a few years now, spent some time on the east coast, the middle east, and in Asia. But nothing, NOTHING, compares to Colorado.

My wife and I invested in some gucci backpacking gear, so the day after I get back we will be heading up into Estes to camp for a few days and just unwind in nature.

Thanks gents, although I never really did anything in the Marines anyways lol, both times I came close to dying...I slept through it all!

By "gucci gear", I just mean the finest gear money can by. Columbia and Patagonia clothing, Marmot tents, Mountain Hardwear Sleeping bags, Thermarest Prolite pads, Osprey Aether packs, Hill People Gear kit bags, etc etc. And as far as Subarus, I sold my 06 Jeep Wrangler and 06 Dodge Ram this year because I couldnt afford the gas anymore, the Subaru Forester that replaced them can handle itself onroad and off, and I love it :p
