Just downloaded it and the "Do not disturb" is a cool feature that should've been there a LONG time ago but the rest of it feels like a downgrade. I'm going to switch back to the old OS when I get home from work because the new maps ABSOLUTELY SUCKS.

Turn by turn should've been available forever ago but at least the old Google Maps actually worked. This new Apple Maps thing has failed on the first two of three tries.

Kinda wish I had used my upgrade last year for an Android but I liked my old iPhone at the time and thought I'd love it when the maps had turn by turn directions...

If you have an iPhone and you regularly use the maps feature... DO NOT upgrade to iOS 6. It is a disaster.

Are you sure you can downgrade ?

Yeah it can be done. I think it involves using an old backup or something but it will happen. I use maps for almost all of my searches so I can't deal with this "upgrade"

If it makes you feel better I stopped using google for nav because it sucks..

You get what you pay for.. VZ Navigator has yet to get me lost.

Not going to upgrade until it has a JB.

Google's nav has been fantastic for me. I want AT&T Navigator to die and stop asking me if I want to use it, when I set Google as default EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.

It's like apple has been hijacked by MS, and is trying to drive people away.

The advantage with Google/Apple nav is the upgrades are often and free. I threw out my standalone GPS when I learned the updated maps would cost more than the device to buy the upgrade.

I paid the extra like 20 bucks to get the model with lifetime maps and traffic .

Tho I do have to remember to bring it in the house and update it .. where as the iphone auto updates.

Get Navigon off of Installous. Free and requires no internet/data.

no issues here w/ ios6 and i'm still sporting a 3GS. Granted I don't get turn by turn but just drove around the block and it works fine. Slightly better interface IMHO.
I'll be getting a iphone5 once the hype/drama die down in about a month (and verify no antena issues)
