I am in Seattle right now away from most my toys but Topherseven was nice enough to put the finishing touches on my AR for me while I am gone.

Very nice Ken the only thing I am still not sold on is that QD mount after the CO silencer shoot last year.

Get your arse back to CO and lets get together for a shoot. I am still holding toperseven's mag hostage. [LOL]

The QD mount was not the problem, the threads cut by Vector arms was.

Ken I am well aware of what the problem was with your gun I looked at it and seen the threads.

Gotcha Tim, Coloradopacker had a diffrent can than me. His was an AAC M4-2000 with their SOPMOD mount. AAC has admited there was a problem with this mount and offered to make it right to any of their customers.

I get so sad when I see you guys making all these cool rifles, but you won't come out and stretch their legs at our events. This rifle would be perfect for our match at Camp Guernsey.

I am glad everyone likes MPFive's AR so far. I got the OD PMAGs and rail covers for it. Here is what it looks like with my YHM Phantom (not QD)

I don't have the best light in my office at night...

enjoy...

I hope to see you there. Don't forget we have the night shoot after the shooters meeting on Friday.

A couple questions about the silencer on the AR
1. Does it affect accuracy?
2. Once you've bought one paid the stamp and all other cost is that it, or do you need to pay the 200 bucks annually?

Thanks
Nick

A modern day suppressor does not affect accuracy it does however affect your point of impact. The difference depends on the suppressor you need to site the gun in accordingly.

One time tax it is good for life.

Thanks for the answers hunter.
Also I posted this question but got no good response.
Why doesn't anyone have or build from colt lowers? I have an HBAR and was wondering why it seems so unpopular compare to pretty much anything else.

Says who?? I have two colts one of which was an HBAR comp now it is my varmit rifle. I put a bushmaster V-match upper on it and a comp grip. I topped it off with a burris full feild II 3x9 with ballistic plex cross hairs and a AWC raider suppressor.

There is a pic of it in the hunting forum from a few weeks back when me ARWill and Romangnome all went prarie dog hunting.

Shooting P-dogs with a silencer has to be a blast. How many shots before they realize somethings not right? What was or would be the cost to buy silencer, stamp, and have barrel threaded like you have? Any other cost than that? Also how about being able to use it on more than one gun? Say a ruger 10/22

Wife just said maybe and without an estimate even

So as to not hijack this thread you should post in the class 3 forum with all your questions. There are plenty of people on this site that can answer any and all questions you have.
