My awesome dog thread

I'm new, I searched (maybe not the best search) but didn't find anything on awesome dogs.
So....
My dog only barks when a squirrel needs to be chased (think animated movie, "Up").
My dog can get the newspaper in the morning.
I let my dog out when the mail lady is putting mail away. She runs out there, sits at her feet and waits for the mail lady to put the mail in her mouth. Then she brings the mail to me.
My dog will sit in the front yard while I mow the lawn and doesn't run away.
If my dog sees a squirrel (or rabbit) on the other side of the road, she doesn't cross the road without asking me first.
The neighborhood kids all like to pet my dog (although I really don't like the neighborhood kids).
My dog makes a great feet warmer when I watch TV.

My dog was dead for three days and then rose from the dead....beat that!

Well almost, thought she was going to die there a few weeks ago and now she's back to normal. Probably did some damage to my kid. Had the talk about how she was old and was going to die. Now she's recovered and the kid asks if she's a zombie dog now. I don't know how a 5 year old has such extensive knowledge of zombies.

My dog is so fat and lazy. Ask her if she wants to go bye bye though and she will burn a trail to the car.
