So the lady in my life is coming to visit and we are heading to the hot springs in steamboat but we have a partial day to hang out where should I take her around Denver area?
Downtown to see the homeless?

If you only have a "partial day" I would recommend an extended day in the bedroom.
Just wash your hands before we get wings later on please...[ROFL1]

Nah shes coming in the 4th we will spend two weeks together headed to KS to see Three Days Grace for my birthday.
Seriously, take her downtown. Maybe dinner at the Cheesecake Factory and drinks somewhere afterwards.
I work with the homeless. Not much to see.

Elway's in the Ritz Carlton.

Neat little place. I, personally, don't really care for the location.

Comedy is always good. Check out the comedy clubs and piano bars. Some of my best "first dates" happened after comedy clubs. [Twist] Chicks like to laugh.
Chicks like to laugh.
They laugh at me all the time when I get undressed. Must make me pretty popular. [Coffee]

There are actually a few good restaurants in Denver, but that isn't one of them.
If you are going to eat anywhere Downtown expect to pay at least ten bucks for parking.

+1 as long as a bunch of dead animals wont scare her off.[Coffee]

Blue Bonnet on broadway south of 6th, if mexican might be on the menu. Plenty of free parking. Since we moved out of the metro area 20 years ago i am amazed how much "downtown" has spread out to encompass such a wide area.

Blue Bonnet is just a ripoff of Dora's, done by a former in-law. Dora's (Parker Road, near Iliff) has better food, and the salsa's the same (since it's the same recipe...)

Definitely uniquely Denver!

TDG puts on one helluva live show! I've seen them twice and both times were great. There are so many restaurants in/around Denver. Buckhorn is good, but you can do better (especially for the price).... If you like steak you should check out the Black Hat Cattle Co. in Kittredge, 1/2 the price of Elways and the steak is just as good! [Beer] <-Sorry, shameless plug, I know the owner.
ummm....take her shooting

Buckwheats for everyone...
Dude, I can't believe there's a discussion around this. You obviously have to take her to Casa Bonita.

+1 for Black Hat Cattle Company. They have great steak, I make the drive over from Parker...it's worth it!
How about The Fort near Morrison?

Their lunch sucks ass. I was rather dissapointed, felt that Rock Bottom was better.
