Any hikers and/or backpackers here? (I know probably a silly question, just give a hauler :) )

I'll definitely join up for a bike ride once I get my bikes out of door-2-door, but it's be nice to go at least hiking.

Would love to, but going out of town tomorrow for a week and probably won't see my bikes until September. As soon as I get them out and put them back together I am there!


Yup! I like to backpack.

We should talk then, I don't know much about this type of terrain or weather in CO, but I imagine it ain't too different from, say, Sierra Nevada-ish.

I'm not much of a quote "hiker", but I do hike alot to and from hunting and fishing. I know alot about the area around Colorado Springs, and would be happy to help. I'll be at the Old Chicago off Powers and S. Carefree tonight 8pm (look for the person wearing a COAR-15 shirt) Stop by and say Hi or drop me a PM when you get back into town.

I need to get out and do some backpacking this year.

I'd also like to get in some diirt bike riding (moto) too. Anyone do this as well. I'd like to do Rollins Pass before snow comes. (it'll be here pretty quick)

When I was a teenager I lived to backpack but now I get enough of that hunting.

Anyone up this weekend? I got my gear packed, probably just going to go for a moderate walk - 10-15 miles or so somewhere close to Colorado Springs. Or just [AR15]or [Beer].

This weekend I will be tending bar Friday & Saturday night @ Fox and Hound. Come in say hi, I may be going out this Sunday.
