I blame the unions. Btw my in laws own part of packers organization.
A small part of me is glad they got robbed, cause I happen to hail from the chi-town region.
You would think that they would be getting better as the weeks go by, but its the exact opposite!
Why even try for four quarters when you get robbed like that? I wish the teams would refuse to play. I am so pissed right now.

ESPN said some of the refs are high school refs
We were warned. We didn't listen.

Thats what I heard as well.
This season certainly gives me a new respect for the old refs. Right now those "old" refs are sitting back in their lazy boys laughing all the way to the bank.... or they will be soon. [ROFL1]
Well, Wisconsin. How do you feel about unions now!?

Scab rat bastards.
When the ref came out to make the call after review, you could have heard a pin drop in that stadium.

It'll be interesting to hear about this for the weeks to come! I was shocked to see that. Not a Packers fan either, but i feel kind of bad for them, technically they deserve a "W" And then bringing them back out for the extra point?!?!? WTF lol

Now hold on... They didn't force the Packers back out. The Packers came out on their own. Which is a class act, especially since they didn't do anything dirty.

You're aware the NHL is in worse labor negotiations than the NFL right?

I'm aware... But at least the NHL gets calls right. [LOL]

Good point, it was a class act wont argue that point. And yes i do feel for the players mostly, because they were just out there playing football, and now they are going to have to deal with the refs mistake.

Figured I was reading that wrong but just had to be sure.
My favorite part is all these people calling it the worst call in sports history [ROFL2][ROFL3] not quite...

It might be the worst "obvious" call in history... But not the worst overall... [LOL]
You guys are looking at this all wrong. This is the most I have been entertained by the NFL in 20 years. [Coffee]

Ya never know what is going to happen. It's so exciting. You don't know if that play was a fumble, a home run, or what...

I'm going to have to side with the terrible call. Here's the thing though, how many times in the past have we said the same thing with the regular refs? I bet that they build a
disclaimer in the new contract that says the color analyzers cannot dispute the calls like they are now once the regulars are back.
This poll was in the Seattle Post Intelligencer:
Did the Seahawks come down with that game-winning touchdown?
No way! This is football blasphemy! Screw the refs! The Packers should have won! (72%, 2,238 Votes)
No, but what can you do? The replacement refs did the best the could with the replay available. (10%, 303 Votes)
Yes! It was a simultaneous catch, the refs called it, and they upheld it. (9%, 292 Votes)
Well ... if that's what the refs said, I'm all for it. Go Seahawks! (6%, 190 Votes)
Not a clue. It's inconclusive. (3%, 72 Votes)
Total Voters: 3,095

However seeing Bilicheck blow a gasket on Sunday and a bunch of angry Cheeseheads on Monday…totally worth it! [BooHoo]
Just a thought.. but you think these refs are intentionally 'blowing' the calls to make the fans outraged at the NFL for locking the players out?
Wouldn't be the first time a union tried to be underhanded.
Do you really think that this level of incompetence would we accepted even in Div II games? I think not.
I think this blatant horrible screw ups are intentional on the part of the refs in order for their 'union' to get what they want, by forcing the NFL through the angst of the fans.
These guys are scabs I don't think they're in the same union as the regular refs Monky
It might be the worst "obvious" call in history... But not the worst overall... [LOL]
The call on the field was not the worst call in history, reviewing and upholding the call was the worst call in history.
yip, it's one thing for the refs. on the field to disagree with one another on what they saw, BUT for the ref. in the replay booth to get it wrong only indicates that they need to have a drink limit placed on them ASAP...
It definitely adds a little more excitement to the game. I watch just to see who will get screwed next.

I'm pretty sure they wouldn't be in the same union, but probably do have communication and you scratch our back we'll scratch yours shit going on. No one can be that stupid on some of these calls.
I'm often amused by conservatives who think that unions are involved whenever something doesn't go according to plan.
Never attribute to malice, that which can be explained by stupidity.

Fvck yeah! You've got to be kidding me if you think these refs are completely blowing their chance of ever being a ref in the nfl, for 121 guys' pension. Monky, with all due respect - you're living up to your title.

Quoted just because I can't believe the idiocy involved in this mindset.
I'm a Bears fan and even I know the Packers got screwed by the refs. I usually love watching football (more for the strategy x's & o's stuff) but this is simply getting painful. I'm done watching until the regular refs return.
I haven't watched or gone to a baseball game since the strike in '94. Totally soured me to the sport. Now football is the last sport that I like watching and even that is going south.... FAST.
I don't really care. The broncos lost. That is what sucks. Besides I am sure there were many opportunities both teams had to win the game that would have made this call less of an issue.

eh, it was close enough to a dual position catch. The regular refs may have made the same call. Anyways, all refs make mistakes and so do mods!
Call them scabs if you want, they are the refs on the field. And as Bill Klem said. “It ain’t nothing until I call it,”
