View Full Version : I think I might have jet lag
And it sucks.
I spent seven days in Hawaii and now that I am back I just can't get to sleep at a decent time. Here it is damn near two in the morning and I'm wide awake.
Also, getting out of bed before 9:00 a.m. is darn near impossible. And I am usually up by about 5:00 a.m. most days.
Is there a cure for this?

Heavy amounts of medication.
Might have to try that tomorrow.

My wife must have jet lag too. She's still up watching TV and she has to get up at 5:30 to get ready for work.

The easiest cure you are probably to late to use. When returning stay up till 2 hours before you would normally go to bed the following day ( 24 hours or more).
The other option is drag you a.. Out of bed for 3 days and use lots of coffee
Oh then there"s my dads way "suck it up and act like a man". This one comes with headaches from lack of sleep[Tooth]

That's probably the most effective method! Not the most pleasant, but it works.
I'll probably just start setting an alarm and waking up at five and deal with being tired. Then maybe I'll get to sleep earlier because I'm tired.
And, just a little FYI for those who haven't seen two or three o'clock in the morning for a while.... the TV programming sucks at those hours. Mostly "info-mercials". Does anyone really buy that crap?

Ray, at those hours shouldn't you be in front of the computer with a bag of Cheetos?
