I've got a couple rifles and one good scope.Just wondering what your thoughts would be on a unimount and switching scopes around, probally often.Rifles are already equiped with p rails.I"ve got a bore scope and could mark and repeat the location for each rifle but fine tuning and readjusting the zero stop would be necessary after each switch.Would this be a waste of money and time? What am I forgetting about?

Eye relief and placement on the rail is going to be different on each rifle unless they are exact clones of each other . You'll have to slip the scope in the mount and relevel each time . I'm bouncing my Schmidt between 2 guns now with regular rings because of necessity , it works but is a pain in the ass and ends up staying on 1 gun and the other not getting shot .

I've been there...
Ended up selling a rifle and buying another NF scope.
Too much of an hassle.
Now I have one good bolt action with one good scope.
I figured It would serve me better to REALLY learn ONE set up rather than switching between different ones.

I'm going to try this now...with and armalite one piece mount and one scope....I feel like I can zero a scope in 3 shots or so...so I'll give it a try

I didn't think about having to relevel the scope too.But Chuck never lies.Between that and resetting the zero stop every time I better start saving for another scope.Wolffo, hopefully it will work.If they end up level on each rifle,I don't see why not. Thanks for the replys.
