I am sure it will; problem is that it has the exact opposite result from the desired result...more unemployment and deeper deficits. The only way to stop the bleeding is to control spending.

"Record unemployment" and evident "economic stagnation" and their solution is to tax the shit out of the largest entities feeding the economy? How brilliant. After France goes bankrupt, we'll probably try the same strategy just to make sure it doesn't work.
I'm not too familiar with France's model, but shouldn't the leaders of a country understand economics on a basic level as a prerequisite for the job? I really tried to give BO the benefit of the doubt during the debates in 2008, but when he described the solution to fixing the economy was for Americans to stop spending money, I turned off the TV; I didn't need to hear any more. Isn't a basic economics class required for nearly every college degree program? Maybe he got a D in that class and that's why his transcripts are sealed.

Worse, those rich Frenchmen will come here soon to escape it!
I am tired of taxes. very tired of them.
So were our founding fathers.

If taxes consume 91% of this nations production, we will be economically enslaved to the government. We are too dependent on foreign oil and waging wars to ensure supply is going to end badly. Too bad we don't have a scientist in the Oval office, someone with a proactive attitude to US energy policy of self sufficiency.Rant over, I have to go cut firewood...
