wild stuff glad he is ok.....would have been sweet if he had aimd his rifle and returned rounds instead of just spraying the side of the mountian

pretty interesting viewpoint. I am still curious why he didn't start shooting again instead of just yelling "im hit" all the time. i saw his grenade launcher got f'd up but he said the rifle was still functional.

Just saw that on the news. Pretty insane. Guy is a total hardass.

No target... shoot what you can hit. I know, I know, he was shooting earlier, but that was probably either to draw fire or suppress. [AR15]
Or maybe at the time he thought his rifle was out of commission, or his injuries prevented him from engaging.

It wasnt a good idea to go down that hill, he was in the open for far too long moving way too slow with no cover. I didnt hear him ask for suppressive fire or anything.

in all these videos it looks like our troops have no idea where the bad guys are and are just shooting blind.....is this how most combat actually is?

Nobody else wanted to run around on the side of the mountain it seemed.
M-14 with variable power scope would be pretty nice in that situation. At least get close enough to keep the towels down.
