View Full Version : CCW wait time (not that wait time)
So I have to go down to Jeffco today to change my address on my CCW- I just moved from Lakewood to Evergreen- and my brother said when he went in because he lost his permit a few months back (along with the rest of his wallet) they said they no longer print permits here and do that elsewhere and that the permit would be mailed. Anyone know if this is true? If so, will they make me surrender my permit when I change my address and then am I permit-less until I get the one with the new address? I know these questions will be answered this afternoon, but I would rather not go without carrying for a few days because they decided to make a change.
Thanks.

I got my new permit last month and walked in took a picture then 5 minutes later signed the back and was out the door, no postal service at all.
Dont keep us guessing........what happened???
Ok update- sorry, was busy finishing moving this weekend... There is little to no credence to what I was told. I went in, turned in the change of address form, they ran off a new CCW permit for me, and all was good. It took all of 5 minutes. [Beer]

I did my change of address through the mail with Adams County. The woman there is very nice and excellent at customer service. I faxed my change of address form and proof of residency, had my new permit 2 days later in my mailbox.
