Man shoots his own masked son

Guy lives next to his sister, his adopted son was masked and supposedly trying to break in. Confrontation on the driveway, dad shoots multiple times, son is dead.

pretty sad, but I have to wonder a few things:

what was the kid doing at 1am?

was this a plan between the dad and the sister?

was this a coverup between the dad and the sister?

Sounds a bit sketchy. The world must be in a rough spot when you hear a story like this and the first thing that comes to mind is foul play.

Tragic! I don't know what seems odd about this other than it's sick and too bad it happened. Honestly so many tragic incidents anymore. Always hearing of family members killing another amongst other things. Like that girl in Laffeyette who killed her mother with her boyfriend years back. It's sad but people are messed up now a days and these things happened. He was adopted and maybe wanted something from his stepfather or just to kill him. Maybe he was high as hell? This world is getting sicker and this crap sucks but it's not as odd as it use to be back in the day.
