I was talking to my wife about fun things she used to do as a youth. She has really fond memories of spending time on a friend's houseboat on lake Powell.

Are there any lakes in Colorado that have houseboat rentals? I know lake Havasu (Arizona) has rentals but I'm clueless about anything like that here.

Try either Grand lake in Granby or, Dillon Res. It's been Years since I been by either and paid attention but the both seemed to have Houseboats sitting on them. They might have one or two for rent.

ETA; Not sure about locally, You might try Chatfield.

ETA2; Pueblo Res. is big enough to support a Houseboat population, if all else fails, that could be an option.

Lake Powell is worth the trip.
I'd recommend going there if there's any way you can swing it.

pueblo res. don't do rentals on boats, they just do slip rentals.
