Gents,

Normally I would post this in the training section, but I know many of you don't go to the training section.

I have Larry Vickers coming to Pueblo West next month for a 2 day pistol, 1 day rifle / carbine class. You can take just the pistol, or just the rifle, or both classes.

If you don't know who Larry Vickers is, Larry is a former Delta Forces Operator and was recently interviewed on the History Channel's "Comat Zone" show about his involvement in the rescue of Kurt Muse in Panama in 1989.

Larry Vickers is also a well known pistolsmith (1911) and most of his pistols go for $5,000+ and have a several year wait. Larry is also one of the founding members of I.D.P.A. Larry's Bio can be seen here: http://www.vickerstactical.com/about.htm. Class announcement listed below (and don't let the word "basic" change your mindset about this class. I have talked to former Gunsite instructors who have taken this class and learned a lot).

I'd really like to go but, It's in the middle of archery hunting season and I think there's something important coming up around then I just can't remember what? Oh yeah! The 17th is my 24th wedding anniversary. Dang it! Maybe she'll want to do the gun training instead of going to Vegas! lol!

Guys this is a great opportunity. But for money I would be there.

Jeff does a great job of getting top notch trainers to come to Colorado. We should take advantage of as many of these classes as we can.

Thanks Jeff.

Thanks for the supports gents.

I have Pat Rogers coming back in May of 2008 (keep an eye open for articles written by Zak Smith and Pat Rogers, you may see some pics from May 2007's class in their up coming articles)

And I haven't scheduled anything for Sept / Oct 2008, but may be looking to bring Larry Vickers back.

We still have room in both the pistol and rifle classes.
