Ok, so I took a few days off from looking after my two little dogs bathroom habits. We are talking about a Chihuahua/Boston mix and a Shiba Inu. I cannot believe how much crap was out there! How do they produce that much after just a couple of days?!?! There has got to be a way to make money off them! Carry on. [Coffee]

I know how ya feel. 3 dogs X 2-3 shits a day X 2 days means 12-18 land mines in the yard.[Bang] I am going to get it mowed today before the rain. [Flower]

Right here is one of the advantages of having a hound dog and living on a 35 acre spread. In the last 6 or 7 years, the wife has policed up some dog crap only a couple times - I never have as it's not in my "job description".[Tooth]
The dog ventures around various select spots away from the house area and once in a while I can see her looking back at the house, just in case I'm watching her from the window, to see if I concur that the place she is about to drop a load, is OK with me.

Feed them good food,and it greatly reduces the amount of poop. Meat as the 1st ingredient and as little corn or filler as possible. The Costco Kirkland food gets great ratings and is priced good.

This. My dogs are limited to the 2 acres that the house and the hayfield are on, but that's enough. The only poop we scoop is when they can't get off the lawn and into the hayfield - usually the day after irrigation.
Usually fill an entire walmart bag every week.[Bang]

It's okay, my little dog will sometimes get excited and dribble a little pee. she usually then licks it up until I can stop her and get it cleaned up

You know what I have the same problem. On top of that I have a giant apple tree, a peach tree and grapes. I have a ton of crap and rotten fruit all over the lawn all the time. I know what you are going to say, that I need to take care of my lawn, but you have no idea. My apple tree drops about 100 lbs of apples every week, and I work 60 hours a week.
Then my dog craps everywhere that apples do not fall. Shit everywhere. So my solution was to get a good pair of boots that I wear when I am in the back yard and I just leave them outside the back door. I use them for my once a week raking overhaul where I combine all the apple shit peach pile and top off my dumpster. I do it before trash day and it amounts to about an hour and a half of raking once a week.
Then my dog craps everywhere that apples do not fall. Shit everywhere.

I have a 135 pound bloodhound and a 90 pound lab. They poo twice a day. So since I HATE picking it up I pick it up everyday when I get home.
