so do you have a store open? and location?
Brand and prices for the pistol ammo, Anthony?
Hey guys.
We dont have the retail site up yet. We are still looking for the right building. With that in mind we have already done alot of guns for GOTX guys, Local PDs, etc. We can usually beat anyones gun prices or we atleast try to.
As far as ammo goes.. we just got in a big shippment and it was gone in about 2 days. Most of it going to guys taking the upcoming class and those wanting to beat the Sept. 1st price increases that the industry has announced.
25,000 rounds fo 45 ACP gone
17,000 rounds of 9mm gone
3,000 rounds of .40 S&W gone
Here is what is on the planned list for delivery within the next 2 weeks.
45 ACP wolf 1000 rds $250.00
45 ACP Aguila 1000 rds $279.00 Ouch...
9mm S&B 1000 rds $159.99
.40 S&W 1000 rounds Aguila $245.00
5.45 x 39 has been extremely popular lately and we are blowing away the local price of 169.99. Our price is $145.00 for the short term. I think we off loaded 24 cases in the same order as the pistol ammo. 1080 round cases.
We also have a very large amount of 5.45 rifles being built for us that should be coming on line soon. They will have upgrades safetys, adj. triggers, rails systems, etc.
Any out of state or instate students that are traveling up for the class, we can hold the ammo for you until the 1st day of class or we can deliver it to your location.
Due to the nature of ammo prices lately, we are holding ammo pricing as much as we can, prices subject to change, and once a week we are looking to see if the pricing is going up or staying the same.
Should any deals arise we will be sure to post asap.
You are welcome to call anytime to place an order.

I'm not such a great writer but here goes;
I have been looking to take some training from Tactical Response for over a year now, they had scheduled a class in pueblo but due to the untimely death of my brother i had to cancel. I recently started a new job, so my vacation is limited enough that it'd be hard to go to their TN facility to train. When i found out they would be within an hours drive i signed up.
I took both the Fighting pistol, and Advanced Fighting Pistol classes offered by tactical response in greely, CO oct 13th-16th. I purposefully went into the class not knowing what to expect, the only thing i knew is it wasn't another class on how to unload and make safe various types of weapons. Don't get me wrong, safety is paramount around firearms, but i've paid my dues with NRA and other places to prove i can handle a gun safely.
Because i took the classes together in such short order, it's hard to separate what i've learned. James told several times how people call up and want to skip "basic" fighting pistol, he refuses. After completing the classes i can only agree, there is nothing basic about Fighting Pistol.
After 4 8hr days of training i came out a much better shooter. I'm still no bullseye target shooter, but i'm now able to reliably fire my pistol into the vital areas of an attacker in a wide variety of circumstances.
Drawing, grip, and trigger control were all areas I immediately saw improvement on. Which lead to faster shots on target.
Finding my happy place with the front sight proved immediately that i could once again shoot well. A little history on myself is that a year and a half ago i suffered from a closed head injury and lost my depth perception along with the ability to look up. I had six months of rehab and recovery to stop being in constant pain and not walk into things. My eyes are not back to normal, but i've learned to work with them, the neck is permanent. The instructors were very good about not pushing my injury at all, i'm so used to having to remind people around me (including doctors) that i was quite surprised at how careful James was. I did have to take a short break from one drill on the third go, but was able to get back to the next, i was never ridiculed because of it.
Almost all of the drills were applicable to a Police officer, a CCW holding citizen, or someone in defense of their home, including defending yourself against multiple attackers. At the end of every excersice i found myself looking forward to the next drill.
What struck me the most is that once you had proven that you were safe with a firearm, you weren't treated like a two year old.
One important thing i did not know until class is that James will provide expert witness testimony to any alumni free of charge. That alone could one day be worth more than the weight of all the ammo we fired in gold.
I took home not only some great knowledge and experience, everyone in class developed a trust or bond by the end.
Thanks to Anthony and Jon for getting it set up. Amber for the free lunch. Bobby for the hot cocoa on a cold ass day! Anthony again for his hospitality. James and Jay for the instruction.
Anthony also managed to get some free stuff to raffle off in class. I took home a Hi-vis front sight, free. I also got to try out some Barret bore cleaner and will be buying some when my stuff runs out. They also gave away an M6 tac light.
Because i know someone is going to ask, i shot something like 2700 rounds out of my glock. I didn't keep a firm track because i was sharing at times, and i gave some ammo to someone who was a bit short. Only one stove pipe and one double feed, both were operator error.
