Obama would need more than Democrat super-majority in the Senate. There's a few Democrat senators that would catch hell if they allowed Holder to be confirmed.
I'm surprised Obama hasn't nominated himself.

Will never get past the nominating process. Too much baggage.

I hope you're right but I never thought he'd get past the nomination process for AG given all the baggage he picked up as Janet Reno's deputy.

He got through on the pink cloud/halo effect. That is off the table, and with Fast & Furious, there is a snowball's chance in hell he'd make it this time. As Inconel710 aptly stated, there are a lot of Democrats who would get fried by their constituency. He's got about as much of a chance as John Ashcroft would have as a Republican nominee.
Flippin shell game. Elect the doss cunt Holder and when he gets slammed the dumb ass Repubs in Congress will allow a liberal in that isn't as bad as Holder but still a flaming pinko.
Dude, I have no idea what you just said but it sounded really cool [Beer]

Could give two shits if Holder gets in if Obama is re-elected.
Wont be giving much of a damn to anything.
America will deserve it by then, WE THE PEOPLE asked for it and WE will get it.
I did my part, your on your own then.

Sounds like the Dilbertism "promoted to his level of incompetence"
supposed to be a corporate thing, especially in IT... but I suppose it could happen in Gov't.
While Holder should be disqualified based on any objective measure and if both parties were doing their job in the Senate, I would not bet against him.
Betting line would have to be in his favor, primarily because the spineless republicans would not shut down the government to stop his appointment.
