Heard that one of the victims of the theater shooting has a commercial, and youtube vid of wanting the Presidential candidates to take a stand on gun violence. And he is joined by 8 others from the incident.

It was on 9 news.

I can understand the victims wanting to fight against guns in the wrong hands but it always ends up with the kind of thinking "well the easiest way is just to take guns from responsible gun owners and violating their 2nd A, like that will keep guns out of criminal hands. [Rant2]

Wanna know what would have stopped the violence? A law abiding citizen returning fire from the elevated theatre seating focused on center mass behind the muzzle blast.

Oh wait, that theatre has a "no gun" policy...

Sure glad the law abiding citizens respected the theater managements policy..

I support laws preventing criminals from possessing illegal guns 100% but I seem to remember that there are a number of laws regarding this issue already...

It is truly sad, pathetic and reprehensible to politicize a tragedy.

Not to mention once again the ignorance of attempting to change human behavior by regulation of an inanimate object.

If Romney gets in we may see some changes, he has stated that we need enforcement of existing laws.
On the other hand, Oblammy made it very clear at the DNC in 08 what his plan is.
